Lifestyle: My Top Ten Influential People

Hey Beauty's,

There are so many people that have and that do inspire and influence me in my life, so I thought that I'd share with you my top 10 most influential people in my life.

1. Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham was my favourite spice girl, but she also was the first designer that I really fell in love with and that inspired me to want to be a designer myself. I started designing when I was 13 or 14, because of her I found what I love to do now, she taught me to never let anyone tell you, you cant do something that you love. When she made her transition from the music to fashion everyone was horrified and she got so much hate for it but now is considered one the most successful designers in the world. She never gave up and that's something I learned from her, to never give up.

2. Whitney Huston

Whitney Huston was and still is one of my favourite artists in the world, I love and adore her and have done since I can remember. I remember I'd get in the car with my mum and instantly put her on and it would drive my mum mad because she's not a fan. But I feel so connected to her through her music, it's what I've listened to my whole life, every tough decisions I've had to make or every tough time in my life Whitney's been there. She had her struggles and her demons and eventually they won but she tried to fight them. She taught me that you make mistakes and everyone has their problems, and that's okay.

3. Nick Knight

Nick Knight was the first photographer that I really took an interest in, I love his work and think his an incredible photographer. His work allowed me to become visually creative for the first time, I saw the fashion word in a completely different way, it wasn't just clothes anymore it became so much more and inspired me creatively in so many different ways for the first time.

4. Anna Wintour

Anna Wintour is just a bad bitch, she's the boss of the fashion world. She's the editor of American Vogue, which who doesn't love Vogue?! What I love about her is she is so bad ass, she just doesn't care what anyone thinks she does her own thing. I love that about her, I want to be as confident in myself as she is about herself, she does get a lot of hate but she just brushes it off and I'd love to be as confident, cool and collected as she is.

5. Dorothy Gale

Now if you don't know who Dorothy Gale is, she's the main character from the film The Wizard of OZ, played by Judy Garland. when I was younger I was obsessed with this film, I'd drive my mum mad and make her sit and watch it with me on repeat all day everyday, I even had a wicker basket with a toy dog in and I'd skip around the living room pretending I was in the film. Now when I think about the film and think about how it influenced my life I see that it taught me, that no matter where I go, there is no place like home and that my family mean the world to me. I've been a lot places around the world and whenever I'm away from home I don't homesick but eventually when I do come home, nowhere compares to it. Home is where my heart is and will always be, I love my family and I don't know where I'd be without them. Although I'd love to visit a magical land... if I could home whenever I liked.

6. My Family

My family, where do I even start, each and everyone of them influence my life in different ways. My mum taught me to be strong and to follow my heart always, my dad taught me to never take myself or life seriously, my nan taught me to be classy, fabulous, elegant and to be graceful no matter the situation; my granddad taught me that no matter who old you are you never going to know what you want to do with your life but that, that's okay and that its good to take risks, and that he never listens when my nans talking.

All of my family have taught me so much and have influenced my life in different ways, that is I listed them all we'd be here forever but if your reading this I love you all and you all mean the world to me and have taught me so much that you probably don't even realise.

7. Shakespeare

Shakespeare, I bet no one expected me to say this one, but honestly I love him and his work so much. He was the first writer that I read that made me fall in love with literature and the theatre, I could read his work and I'd find myself lost in a world, it's distract me from my own life and my own problems that I did want to face; inspired me to write and made me fall in love with writing.

8. Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian, say what you like about the Kardashians but Khloe is my favourite. I find her so inspiring, she makes me laugh all the time, I'd love to be half the women she is. recently she's influenced my fitness journey, I hated the way I looked and always felt fat and Khloe's own fitness journey is incredible and she's done so well, she works so hard and my goal is to be as fit as she is.

9. Hayden Williams

Hayden Williams, if you don't know who he is then you need to check out his Instagram his an incredible fashion illustrator, he was the first fashion illustrator that I saw online and I just fell in love with him, his worked so hard and he never gave up and now his work is featured in Naomi Campbell's book.

10. My Year 11 English Teacher

My year 11 English teacher, did so much for me that I don't think she even knows. I hated school but I loved her lessons and would look forward to them everyday, she's the only teacher that believe in me. She gave me the confidence I needed, he belief in me gave me the belief I needed to believe in myself. If it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't be sat here writing this now, I'm so grateful for everything she did for me and I can't thank her enough.

So that was my list of ten most influential people throughout my life, there are so many more but these are the first ones I think of. I'd love to hear who has influenced your life.

All my love
