Okay, beautiful people this is my inspirational look book for winter; as you can see it's all about layering and keeping warm, as you can see it was a rather sunny day when we went out to take the photos so probably doesn't give the full effect of winter. But hopefully you find this helpful, in creating your winter wardrobe or inspires you with an outfit.

I had fun taking these photos, so thank you to Gayle who took the photos for me, my mum for her "artist direction.." (she actually spent most of the day look after the dog) and thank you too my little Charlie (my dog) who as you can see by the photo got very wet and muddy, but he had fun!

Primark and Boohoo Haul - Winter Wardrobe.

Hey beautiful people, 

So first off I'd just like to say a massive thank you to you all because now I'm over 1,500 page views! 

Okay so on with the haul, this week I've been spending some cash shaping my winter wardrobe. First I placed an order on www.Boohoo.com were I brought a new winter coat, I brought a green parker with a really warm furry hood; I also brought a pair of black boots with a double side buckle and a little kind of heel (that are supper comfy!) These two items are essential to your winter wardrobe, they are two key items that will not only keep you warm as it gets cold but also look good with leggings or disco pants and will make you on trend this winter. 

Then yesterday I went on a shopping trip and spent some of my dads money! (why not aye?) I went to good old primark because they have some great things for winter and it's not pricey either, so first thing I brought was a black leather look dress with skater style skirt which I love because I'm all over leather at the moment and paired with the right things it can be warn with heals as a night look or with some boots to make a chic day look. The next thing I brought was a pair of navy trousers/jeans with little navy stars on, that I just fell in love with; I just think they will look so cool either dressed up or dressed down. 

Then I brought a a new bobble hat seeing as the one I brought the other week it was chewed by my dog.. so it's just a plain creamy/beige knitted bobble hat that will be an everyday must have in the cold. The last thing I brought was a batman t-shirt, it's not technically very wintery but I just really liked it and thought it would look nice with maybe a leather skater skirt of some disco pants, so I brought it.

Just a little waffle...

Hey guys, so I know I've been a little behind lately on updating but truth is I'm stuck for inspiration on what to write; so I thought that I'd write post today to just let you all know what's going on in my life and some news that I have for all you beautiful people. 

First things first is that I don't have a October Favorites for you as I've been loving everything that was in my September Favorites as I haven't really tired anything new, so sorry about that! although this month I am thinking of making kind of a look book for winter as it is now November and winter is coming even faster; I always struggle with finding warm but stylish outfits. So that's why I thought that maybe I could make a post with a few warm stylish outfits that you all could re-create during winter. 

If there is anything that any of you have in mind for me to review or what not don't hesitate to ask me, maybe if there is a product that you fancy trying but don't know how effective it is and want someones advice first then give me an email or ask me on twitter or tumblr or through my facebook page. 

I recently visited Southampton Solent University, which is my first choice and I absolutely loved it there. Fingers crossed I get in because the course looks so good and I just want to be there now! 

I've also recently been doing some thinking and have come up with kind of my own little saying that I really like; think that everyone should take on board because it something that everyone should embrace. It is 'Dream big, be true to who you are, enjoy life and because you are beautiful.' 

Also quite recently I've been given so many amazing opportunities by some amazing people that I can't wait to share with all of you! Thank you to each and everyone one of you for your support and love you've given me over the past nine months without you I wouldn't be where I am now and I believe this is just the start for CarriesClosetxo!  


I hope you don't mind my sort of waffley post today, I'm just kind of stuck for ideas on what to write, I'm defiantly going to try and organize my life a bit better and leave time in my week so that I can update and become more regular like I was a few months back!
